Admission to the Postbaccalaureate Premedical Program is conducted on a rolling basis starting in the fall with decisions made throughout the admissions cycle. Applying early is recommended because there are many more qualified applicants than spaces.

To apply for the Class of 2026:

  • Application Opens: Thursday, August 8, 2024
  • Early Action Deadline: Tuesday, October 1, 2024 (11:59 pm PST) to receive a decision by Friday, December 20, 2024.
  • Regular Decision Deadline: Wednesday, February 19, 2025 (11:59 pm PST)

Our program participates in the Postbaccalaureate Centralized Application Service (PostbacCAS). To evaluate your eligibility for the program, first, we review your PostbacCAS Bryn Mawr application and supporting materials. Following this initial screening, you may be invited to interview.

If you are invited to interview, we want to help you decide whether Bryn Mawr is the right choice for you. On your interview day, you鈥檒l participate in an information session given by the director of the Postbaccalaureate Premedical Program and speak with current students. We will also provide you with an academic plan for classes, based on your academic history.

After your interview, our Admissions Committee will review your candidacy and make a decision about your admission to the program within four to six weeks. Our Admissions Committee members include representatives from the science faculty and the Postbaccalaureate Premedical Program office. Your application and interview help our Admissions Committee to determine whether your previous academic record and experiences, along with your goals and motivation, are consistent with the requirements of our program.
