A high school class in Appalachia reads The Crucible, as the town is rocked by a series of scandals. Life becomes entangled in the lessons the students are learning, and they begin to question John Proctor鈥檚 classification as 鈥渉ero.鈥

Wickedly funny. Sobbingly cathartic. John Proctor is the Villain asks who gets to be the hero in the stories that we tell. This play will be on Broadway in the spring, starring Sadie Sink. Beat the crowds. Be in the know. Say you saw it here first.

This play is rated R for language, sexual assault, and the mention of suicide. Complete Content Warning (May Contain Spoilers).
