Career+Civic: Projects for Peace Information Session
Projects for Peace is an initiative for all students at the Davis United World College Scholars Program partner schools to design grassroots projects for the summer—anywhere in the world—which promote peace and address the root causes of conflict among parties. Applicants are encouraged to use their creativity to design projects and employ innovative techniques for engaging project participants in ways that focus on conflict resolution, reconciliation, building understanding and breaking down barriers which cause conflict, and finding solutions for resolving conflict and maintaining peace. Attend this information session to hear from Career & Civic Engagement staff about how the project proposal process works, the important deadlines, and what kinds of projects have been funded in the past.
ÐÓ°ÉÔ°æÓ°Òô welcomes the full participation of all individuals in all aspects of campus life. Should you wish to request a disability-related accommodation for this event, please contact the event sponsor/coordinator. Requests should be made as early as possible.
